Reports To: Head Coach/Athletic Director/Secondary Principals

Contract: 210 Days

Alma School District is seeking an assistant football coach certified to teach 7-12 Education. The assistant football coach works directly with the guidelines provided by the Arkansas Activities position is a 210 day contract to begin in July.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET

Holds or is able to secure Arkansas teacher licensein 7-12 education
Valid Arkansas Coaching certification or endorsement
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth
CDL encouraged but not required
Appropriate classroom management skills
Assist Head Football Coach with day to day operations of football program
Assist with Special Teams responsibilities
Assist Head Spring Sports Coach with day to day operations of a spring sport
Will help develop and assist with the off season program
Demonstrate an active interest in the academic progress of student athletes in an attempt to prevent academic eligibility problems
Other duties as assigned
