Summary
Our organization is seeking an Instructional Design Associate to assist our instructional design team in creating high-quality training programs and educational materials. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who is passionate about learning and has a strong interest in instructional design.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Subject Matter Experts and Stakeholders to plan and scope requirements forlearning programs andcurriculum.
Design and developcurriculum architecturetosupport operational roles.
Design and develop engaging innovative and effectivetraining programs which includeinstructor-led and eLearning trainingcourseworkthat:
Are instructionally-sound applying research based adult learning theories.
Clearlybasedondefined and measurable goals
Are completedin accordance withproject plans.
Demonstrate best UX/UIand accessibilitypractices.
Arehigh quality andconsistent with approved style guides.
Meetcustomerneeds andexpectations.
Communicatecomplex learning concepts effectively.
Supply design documentation storyboards design mock-ups and training assets.
UtilizeeLearningauthoring toolsandother learning technology systems and platforms
Manage andmaintaincurriculum and courses withinscope.
Workwith LMS admin to test and deploy content.
Work within standard operating proceduresfor thelargerinstructional design team.
Partnerwith a project manager and work within project management software to manage theday-to-dayprogress of work.
Collaborate with facilitators and providetrainer instructionfor virtual and in-personclassroom training.
Partner with multimedia specialists tocreate graphics video and other media assets to supplement courses.
Champion the ADDIE process work effectively in a cross functional environmentcollaborate with other learning professionalsand align with standard operating procedures acrossthetrainingteam.
Requirements:
Bachelorsor masters degree in Instructional DesignorAdult Learningorequivalent work experiencepreferred.
A minimum of 3-5years as an instructional designer producingonboarding upskilling anddevelopment programs.
Working knowledge ofcontent authoring tools LMSsand other learning technology platforms.
Working knowledge of visual design toolssuch as Adobe CreativeCloud Camtasia or Vyond.
Working knowledge of managing the design development and lifecycle of training programs.
Experience working in a collaborative and fast-paced cross-functional environment preferred.
Experienceworking in legal services personal injury and case management preferred.
Ability to work on computers sit and reach a screen for up to 8 hours per day ability to travel up to 10-25% of time
Location: This position will be based in one of our East Coast offices.
