Program Overview
- February Academy (Feb 1720): Theme: The Mathematics of Cooking & Baking. Focus: Fractions measurement and math fluency.
- April Academy (April 2124): Theme: The Mathematics of Gardening. Focus: Geometry standards (3rd5th grade)
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities: All staff working vacation academies are expected to attend the pre-program meeting the week before. Staff are also expected to be able to fully commit to the 4-day program.

- Logistics Management: Oversee daily operations including student arrival/dismissal procedures transportation communication recess/ enrichment block offerings.
- Family Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for families; provide daily updates and handle outreach regarding attendance or student needs. Follow up with families around program attendance.
- Resource Coordination: Manage the inventory of cooking supplies (February) to ensure teachers have necessary materials. Lead and organize cooking activities.
- Staff Support: Act as a floating supervisor to assist with any behavioral needs or schedule shifts during the academic blocks.
