As anAnalyst within MSCIs Private Capital SolutionsTransactions Team you will play a critical role in transforming raw private capital data into valuable high-quality analytics used by institutional asset owners and managers. This includes the identification extraction reconciliation and validation ofclient-level andfund-level transactions valuations andperformance metricswith direct linkage toindexing and will supportcore deliverableswhiledeveloping technicalexpertise growing client acumen and contributing to scalable data operations.
Review andanalyseprivate capital fund documentation ( account statements notices and reports) to accurately capture cash flows valuations andperformance metricsdata.
Applyanunderstandingofcomplex fund structures and methodologies used in private capital reporting.
Maintain and update client-specific datasets to ensureaccurateinvestment bookofrecords.
Support monthly and quarterly reconciliation processes with internal quality control checkpoints.
Work directly with Client Services to resolve discrepancies and answer client inquiriesregardingtransaction orvaluationdata.
Work collaboratively across PCS teams to resolve operational challengesparticipatein peer reviews and uphold quality standards.
Provide suggestions for workflow enhancements and automation to improve process efficiency.
Participate in special projects including new client transitions platform migrations or service development pilots.
Bachelors degree in Finance Investments AccountingEconomics or related disciplines
Familiarity with private capital investment structures and fund-level data.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and familiarity with databasessuch as Python orSQLarea plus.
Demonstrated ability to work with numerical data and documentation with strong attention to detail.
