The FP&A Lead Analyst will join the Imaging FP&A Center of Excellence based in Monterrey serving as a core contributor to a worldclass analytics organization focused on Excellence & Decision Intelligence.
This role is designed to transform data into insights and insights into decisions establishing a standard way of thinking across the Imaging segment. The analyst will support financial planning performance management and investment analytics while driving standardization automation and continuous improvement.
Operating within a defined heartbeat and operating rhythm the role partners closely with Imaging FP&A leadership SBU finance teams and crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure prioritization transparency cadence and clear separation of signals vs. noise. Through strong business immersion process discipline and advanced analytics capabilities the analyst helps elevate FP&A maturity and enable better faster and more consistent decisionmaking across Imaging.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- FP&A analyst supports all post-close reporting acting as a key business partner to the SBU finance and operating teams.
- Lead and coordinate recurring mechanisms including P&L forecasts business case reviews etc. for the MR Path to Leadership team
- Support analysis and reporting of return on investments from potential business development activities in MR
- Lead planning & reporting of SBU financial performance with analysis of the key drivers: volume pricing mix VCP buckets EOP & inflation investments & Base cost productivity
- Support analysis of MR R&D spend including trend analysis estimation & planning by spending buckets (NPI VCP ATD IB/OH) and sub-modalities
- Prepare product level analytics on contribution margin movement to give insights on regional & product mix pricing volume gain and productivity impact.
- Supports SBU planning cycles including strategic plan SII and operating plan. Focus on both franchise profile and more detailed analysis in relation to product and supply chain investments
- Support the MR CFO and MR leadership with P&L-specific analytics & requests.
- Lead and support the standardization of FP&A analytics and reporting across the Imaging segment
- Identify design and implement automation opportunities leveraging Power BI Power Query Power Automate and AIenabled tools to reduce manual effort improve data accuracy and accelerate insight delivery.
- Transition manual and repetitive FP&A activities toward automated and insightdriven solutions freeing analyst capacity to focus on highervalue decision support and business partnering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration
- A minimum of 4 years financial work experience including FP&A.
- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
- Proficient English
- Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas
- Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information different or unexpected circumstances and/or to work in ambiguous situations
- Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle Hyperion Business Objects etc.) strong Excel and Power Bi skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables VLookup Macros and dashboarding)
- Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level) functions and region
- Experience working in a matrixed environment
