The opportunity

The purpose of the global EY organization is to Build a better working world. The insights and services the organization provides help to drive long-term value for clients people and society and to build trust in the capital markets. An essential function under EY Business Enablement Supply Chain Services (SCS) is a global team with more than 600 professionals in over 35 countries supporting the EY organization across the globe. This structure helps enable knowledge-sharing across categories and regions streamlining efforts in seeking innovative suppliers that can provide exceptional client service to maximize SCSs value for the EY organization and the worlds supply chain.

A key component of SCS is Global Procurement whose purpose is to drive significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration to manage Technology Talent Alliances and Brand Marketing and Communications (BMC) spend categories. We forge meaningful supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY maximize long-term value for its people clients and communities.

As a Supplier Relationship Team Manager you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse mix of people and suppliers that contribute to EYs continual effort of Building a better working world and ensuring that our SRM program is truly world-class.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business advisor to EY stakeholders leading and supporting the SRM team in supporting business owners in achieving their goals and objectives reliant on supplier performance of contract obligations.
• Willingness to work during European & early North America business hours with stakeholders.
• Provide exceptional service to stakeholders while delivering both brand and quantitative value through contract value realization
• Require exceptional understanding of Microsoft products and services.
• Understand our global supplier footprint types of contracts signed and supplier deliverables and obligations as defined in the contracts demonstrating a strong understanding of the category and building/driving the future roadmap
• Have a strong understanding of key suppliers their capabilities and their position in the market
• Ensure SRM engagement with business stakeholders procurement specialists and supplier account teams
• Work with senior stakeholders to help develop a supplier strategy which supports the overall global SRM strategy
• Help suppliers be successful in delivering their services at EY
• Drive improvements in processes policy systems management information and reporting
• Build strong relationships with business partners including Technology Legal (GCO) Global Client Serving Partners Sector Leaders etc.
• Ensure the successful delivery of tactical SRM services provided by third parties specifically in support of Adobe and Microsoft
• Manage the training development and performance of team members helping them develop their leadership strategic development skills supplier relationship management expertise and people management skills
• Ensure consistent use of the SRM framework

• Strong business acumen and commercial skills to drive supplier relationship management strategies across a broad array of portfolios
• Understanding of the commercial drivers of supplier performance
• Strong negotiator and influencer capable of driving alignment with key senior stakeholders and leaders
• Solid leadership skills
• Collaborative team member valuing cooperation and teamwork
• Extensive knowledge of the SRM landscape and specifically Adobe and Dell with deep understanding of their offerings and solutions across cloud managed services and the datacenter
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders
• The ability to drive change by building strong trusting relationships with senior stakeholders business partners and suppliers
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
• Strong organizational skills

To qualify for the role you must have

• Business or Technology Degree or relevant experience for role demonstrable in a similar industry/s
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience including experience within technology suppliers and specifically Adobe and Dell
• Excellent oral written communication and presentation skills in business English with senior stakeholders Client Service employees Alliance teams and senior supplier management
• People management experience
• Domestic and/or international travel for strategic planning stakeholder meetings people management project coordination and implementation may be required.

Ideally youll also have

• Experience with a global culturally diverse organization with 100000 employees
• Experience working collaboratively virtually and independently
