History Teacher High-Achieving Secondary School Hillingdon

Are you a passionate historian with the ability to bring the past to life for a new generation of learners

We are seeking an intellectually curious and engaging History Teacher to join a high-performing Humanities faculty at a well-regarded secondary school in the London Borough of Hillingdon. This is a full-time permanent position for a dedicated professional who is committed to academic excellence and inclusive storytelling.


Key Details:

  • Role: History Teacher

  • Contract: Full-time Permanent

  • Location: Hillingdon West London (Ample parking and great transport links via the Elizabeth Line/Piccadilly Line)

  • Curriculum: History across KS3 KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (A-Level).

  • Salary: Outer London Main/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS).


The Opportunity

As a History specialist you will inspire students to analyze evidence challenge interpretations and understand the complexities of the human experience. You will have the opportunity to teach a diverse and broad curriculum ranging from Medieval power struggles to 20th-century global conflicts.

The department emphasizes critical thinking and literacy helping students master the art of essay writing and historical inquiry. You will be part of a collaborative Humanities team that shares resources and best practices to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
