Job Summary: The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients recovering from acute illness injury or surgery. This role supports functional improvement patient safety and continuity of care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of rehabilitation patients.
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and care plans.
Support patient mobility recovery goals and interdisciplinary rehabilitation plans.
Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition appropriately.
Document nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians therapists and the interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation and/or Medical-Surgical nursing experience Required
Medical-Surgical experience Required
Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience Required
CRRN certification Preferred
EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required

Certifications
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) Preferred

License: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License Required

Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 24 beds and an average census of 18 patients
Staffing guideline of 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
