Job Summary: The Telemetry Registered Nurse provides focused nursing care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role emphasizes rhythm interpretation patient assessment and coordinated care delivery within an inpatient telemetry setting.

Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient monitoring.
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and protocols.
Provide IV therapy and support procedures requiring conscious sedation.
Document nursing care accurately and communicate clinical updates to the care team.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience Required
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience Required
IV insertion and phlebotomy experience Required (2 years)
Conscious sedation experience Required (2 years)

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required

Certifications
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required

License
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License Required
Primary Source Verification through NYSED Required
