Location: Manhattan NY (Onsite 3 Days per Week)
Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Java Backend Developer (Contractor) to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining scalable microservices using Spring Boot and must have handled applications involving millions of transactions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role suited for someone with a deep understanding of high-performance backend systems and team guidance.
Required Skills:
12 16 years of experience in Java backend development.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Solid experience with Junit and test-driven development.
Proven background in handling applications processing millions of transactions daily.
Experience with caching queuing and database optimization techniques.
Familiarity with CI/CD Git and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and lead teams.
