Job Summary

Oracle Order Management Functional Consultant (Oracle Cloud)

Location- Remote (US-based) with occasional travel to Phoenix

Role Summary

The client is looking for a hands-on Oracle Fusion Order Management Functional Consultant with strong end-to-end OM expertise. This role is not theoretical or documentation-heavy. You are expected to own OM functionality work directly with business stakeholders and drive solutions from requirements through post-go-live support.

If someone has only surface-level Oracle Cloud exposure they will not survive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Order Management (OM Cloud)
Gather and translate business requirements intofunctional solutions (order capture to fulfillment to invoicing)
Configure and support:
- Order Management
- Pricing
- Shipping & Fulfillment
- Returns Management
Work closely with Supply Chain Inventory Shipping AR and Finance teams
Handle OM extensions approvals orchestration rules and business events
Support integrations with downstream/upstream systems (OIC REST/SOAP third-party apps)
Perform UAT support defect triage and production issue resolution
Coordinate with technical teams for reports extensions and integrations
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable)

10 years of Oracle experience with strong Oracle Fusion Cloud OM focus
Proven experience in Oracle Order Management Cloud implementations
Strong understanding of:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Pricing strategies
- Shipping & fulfillment flows
Experience with OM orchestration approval rules and extensibility framework
Solid functional understanding of Inventory AR Pricing and SCM integrations
Client-facing experience - must communicate clearly and confidently
Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Nice to Have (Big Plus Not Mandatory)

Oracle Cloud certifications (OM / SCM)
Experience with OIC integrations
Exposure to high-volume order environments
Prior experience working with US-based clients

Travel Requirement

Occasional travel to Phoenix AZ (workshops critical phases or go-live support)
