Hospital: Centennial Medical Center Location: Nashville TN Address: 2300 Patterson St. Nashville TN 37203 Unit Name: CVICU Building: Tower Cost Center: 653/64125 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 16 Patient Ratios : 1:2 1:1 for certain device patients Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Free floating charge nurse to assist staff. Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech M-F 0730-1530. Student Nurse Externs on variable shifts that assist nurses by performing tech duties. Type of equipment : Phillips bedside telemetry monitors Hill-Rom beds Alaris IV pumps Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 2 weekends/month 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day July 4th Labor Day) 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day New Years Eve New Years Day) Floating policy: C/L employees float as needed typically to other ICU s but can include other floors. Patient Experience requirements: None specific Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Strong critical care experience including CVICU experience Advanced skills needed: Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required preferred experience with IABP Impella and CRRT. Procedures performed on unit: Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients including ECMO Centrimags and HM3 LVADS. Perform central line insertion swan insertion intubations etc. on unit. Certifications Required: ACLS BLS Dress Code: (Required uniform) Scrubs black red or galaxy blue scrub jackets/vests only Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
