Role Description
This is a full-time on-site PET CT Technologist position located in Melbourne FL. Responsibilities include preparing patients for PET/CT procedures operating imaging equipment ensuring radiation safety and producing quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Additional duties involve maintaining patient records collaborating with healthcare teams and following department protocols to provide patient-focused imaging care.
Qualifications
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and competency in Radiologic Technology.
- Strong knowledge and technical skills in Radiology and PET/CT imaging procedures.
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Understanding of Medicine as it pertains to imaging and diagnostic care.
- Exceptional attention to detail communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in patient care and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred.
