Job Summary

Position: QA Test Lead

Location: Reston Town Center VA(3 Days a Week Onsite)

Description:

Leads testing during application analysis test strategy development test case creation test script development test execution defect tracking and reporting. Also expected to contribute towards evolving Testing CoE. The candidate may also be required to train end users.

Skills:

Prior experience and expertise with Testing Center of Excellence strategy and transformation.
Expertise in testing Web SOA/WS DW/ETL JAVA backend applications.
Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall software development models.
Expertise in testing methodologies and process.
Direct experience designing developing and maintaining automation suites using ACCELQ.
Ability to lead automation initiatives using ACCELQ across enterprise applications.
Familiarity with codeless AI driven testing workflows (native to ACCELQ.)
Expertise in project management tools; HP ALM Rally JIRA. Strong SQL skills in Oracle. Strong Unix and Windows skills.
Experience in applying test automation.
Experience in applying ATDD/BDD Gherkin.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Management experience leading multiple projects.

Education/Work Experience:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science Information Systems Mathematics Engineering or related field
Post-graduate degree desired
15 years of testing experience setting requirements test protocols and analyzing results; has participated in projects of similar scope and complexity.
2 years leading testing efforts.
