Duration: 12 months
Schedule
- Shift: 7 Days On / 5 Days Off (OT After 40hrs/week)
- On-Call: 24/7 during the 7 on-days
- No calls between 11:00 PM 5:00 AM
Per Diem & Travel
- Per Diem: XX50/day (available during training)
- Mileage Reimbursement: Provided as needed when traveling in a personal vehicle
Job Summary
The Electronic Technician is responsible for supporting operational demands by ensuring timely delivery and optimal performance of equipment. This role focuses on improving maintenance efficiency reducing non-productive time and enhancing asset reliability within the Maintenance Base (MB).
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with the established maintenance program and reliability-centered maintenance strategy
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and follow standard work procedures
- Accurately record materials labor and maintenance history within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems including:
- Work orders
- Parts usage
- Equipment movements
- Maintenance time and performance history
- Ensure compliance with TLM Product Line standards
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to:
- Improve asset utilization
- Reduce cost of service delivery (CoSD)
- Minimize downtime related to maintenance parts availability and work-in-process
- Support efforts to improve maintenance technician productivity and efficiency
- Implement CoSD projects including repair and reuse of parts
- Participate in assigned failure investigations
- Comply with the TLM Competency Management System
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of multimedia systems
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard computer software
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma (required)
- 2-year IT/Computer degree or equivalent on-the-job training
- No certifications required
