Position Details:

Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Forest Lake MN
Duration: 08-Jan-2026 to 05-Jun-2026
Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
Position Type: Contract
Working Hours: 37.5 hours weekly from Monday to Friday (7:15am-3:15pm)
Student Age Group: Middle School Autism classroom
Case Load: 22 Kids no IEPs or Evals due to a designated team that takes care of this.

Responsibilities: Special Education Teacher

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to track their academic social and emotional development.
Work closely with general education teachers parents and support staff to coordinate services and ensure a cohesive educational plan for each student.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the unique needs of students with special needs.

Qualifications: SPED Teacher

Minnesota Department of Education Special Education license required.
Licensure in ASD preferred.
Holds a Bachelors degree.
