Job Summary

Adelphi is seeking a licensed Psychologist to provide comprehensive trauma-sensitive and culturally responsive mental health and social-emotional support services for children ages Birth to Five and their families within early childhood education settings at a school in Pittsburgh PA. The Psychologist will deliver direct mental health interventions conduct assessments provide consultations support staff professional development and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with federal state and district requirements.

Requirements
Current Licensed Psychologist credential valid in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
Resume demonstrating relevant education licensure and experience providing mental health services to young children and families

Responsibilities
Provide individual consultations and mental health intervention services to children ages Birth to Five and their families
Conduct comprehensive child assessments screenings and evaluations to inform service planning and referrals
Provide referrals for further mental health evaluations and community-based supports as needed
Collaborate with early childhood educators administrators families and community partners to support childrens social-emotional development
Support the implementation monitoring and evaluation of research-based parenting curricula
Facilitate professional development and training for staff and parents/caregivers (virtual and/or in-person)
Deliver trauma-sensitive culturally responsive interventions that reflect family community and cultural contexts
Participate in multi-tiered systems of support including consultation team-based problem solving and crisis intervention/prevention
Maintain accurate and timely documentation reports and data in compliance with grant requirements and program standards
Ensure confidentiality and data security in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA regulations
Utilize district-approved electronic systems and devices for documentation and reporting
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure continuity of services
Any other duties as assigned.
