Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Field Guide for a luxury safari lodge in Ballito. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced guide to lead safari experiences mentor junior guides and deliver exceptional high-end guest experiences in a luxury lodge environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead guided game drives and walking safaris for guests
Provide expert knowledge on wildlife conservation and ecosystems
Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests
Mentor and support junior field guides
Assist with vehicle equipment and trail maintenance
Monitor and record wildlife sightings and lodge trails
Contribute to lodge operations and special projects as required
Requirements
Significant experience as a Field Guide preferably within a luxury lodge
Relevant qualifications (FGASA or equivalent) advantageous
Strong wildlife and conservation knowledge
Excellent guest communication and presentation skills
Leadership skills and ability to mentor junior guides
Willingness to live on-site and work flexible hours
