This contract position is located in Beverly and requires an on-site presence providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry.
As a Locum MD/DO you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and managing oncology cases with precision and compassion. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in case discussions and team meetings
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification in Hematology Oncology or Medical Oncology
- Associate level experience in a clinical setting
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Current medical license to practice in the state
Flexible Schedule: 8a-5p 3 to 5-day workweek
Call Requirement: Every Monday night and 1:4 weekend rotation
Will cover multiple facilities
Patient Census: 12-15 per day
Case Split: 60% hematology 40% medical oncology
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
