Job Summary

Inventory Control Clerk

The Inventory Control Clerk performs duties such as counting reconciliation of Inventory Control issues when it comes to movement of HVAC parts supplies and product and ensuring it is put back correctly. We are seeking someone that is familiar with inventory control shipping and receiving computers and RF Scanners.

Ideally candidates will have prior inventory experience be comfortable using computers drafting emails and researching discrepancies within an ERP system. As with all positions forklift certification will be required to allow cross-coverage when needed.

PAY RANGE: $21.00hr
LOCATION: Sacramento CA 95834
POSITION: Contract to Hire
SCHEDULE : 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F w/some Saturdays

Shipping and Receiving
Computer Inventory
RF Scanners
Under direct supervision records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Compiles records from ordering shipping and receiving materials.
Updates information on computer to maintain inventory records.
Assesses stock supply and reorder status.
Assists in preparing and verifying requisition of additional stock items using the appropriate forms or systems. Assists in maintaining compliance with established internal control procedures.
Must be able to learn and follow procedures.
Requires accurate and efficient record keeping and verification of inventory changes.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED
Prior Inventory Control experience
Forklift Experience preferred
Steel Toe Boots required
Background Check / Drug Test
ERP system
Computer skills
