The Position

At Roche our Pharma Ambition is to transform drug development and deliver 20 transformative medicines by 2029. As a Summer Intern within Global Clinical Operations (PDG) you will support the Clinical Operations Excellence (COE) team in enhancing the way we deliver clinical trials to patients. This role is designed for a student looking to gain a foundational understanding of the clinical trial industry and the infrastructure required to develop life-saving medicines.

  • Aid in the implementation and management of clinical operations business processes to ensure they meet global standards.

  • Develop a basic understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and help support a strong compliance culture within the department.

  • Support the adoption of new technologies and AI-driven tools aimed at making clinical trial delivery more efficient.

  • Assist in organizing and sharing critical information to ensure study teams have real-time access to the data they need for decision-making.

  • Participate in change management activities and bring a fresh perspective to solving operational problems.

  • Build a baseline awareness of how clinical trials are operationalized in a global pharmaceutical setting.

  • Learn to prioritize tasks independently while collaborating across a diverse global team.

  • Develop professional judgment by analyzing information to solve potentially complex problems.

Who you are:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate in Data or IT preferred (Science Business Healthcare or closely related fields.

  • This is an entry-level student position; previous experience in a professional office or research environment is a plus but not required.

  • Strong communication a willingness to learn and an interest in using data and technology to improve patient outcomes.

Preferred:

  • Coding proficiency and AI familiarity.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Based in Mississauga Hybrid (minimum of 3 days per week in the office).

  • Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week) Internship

  • Length: This position is a 4-month internship and is expected to begin in May 2026.

This position is not eligible for relocation support.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga isandof hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
