Are you a forward-thinking instructional leader Buffalo GroveHigh School is seeking a dynamic and highly skilledDivision Head of Math and Scienceto lead supportand inspire our Mathematics and Science department.

This role is ideal for an administrator who thrives at the intersection of instructional leadership data analysis and collaborative professional learning. As Division Head you will play a critical role in shaping high-quality math and science instruction strengthening curriculum coherence and ensuring students are prepared for college careers and an increasingly complex world.

What Youll Do:

• Provide instructional leadership for the Math and Sciencedepartment ensuring alignment withstate standards district goalsand best practices.
• Supervise support and evaluate department staff through meaningful observations feedback and coaching cycles.
• Supervise support and evaluate department staff through purposeful observations coaching and feedback focused on continuous improvement.
• Partner with teachers to analyze student performance data and design targeted instructional strategies and interventions.
• Support the integration of inquiry-based learning problem-solving and real-world applications into classroom instruction.
• Facilitate professional learning communities (PLCs) that promote collaboration reflective practice and continuous growth.
• Serve as a key thought partner to school leadership in advancing schoolwide instructional initiatives and improvement goals.
• Champion equitable access to advanced coursework and high-quality instruction for all students.
• Collaborate with families student services and community partners to support student success and academic progress.

What WereLooking For:

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with General Administrative Endorsement
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum leadership instructional coaching and teacher evaluation
Strong background in Mathematics and/or Science instruction
Knowledge of data-driven instructional practices and assessment literacy
Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills
Commitment to equity-driven leadership and closing achievement gaps
A passion for student success and a commitment to equity in education

• Salary Range:Administrative Salary Grade One- $134511-$168139
