Head of Media Sales- BrandSpace

Your opportunity

As the Head Of Media Sales you are responsible for leading and driving the sales performance of BrandSpaces media and brand activation products across the Australian market. The Head of Media Sales will develop and execute strategic sales plans across four key revenue streams ensuring sustainable growth and strong client relationships with brands agencies and retailers.

This role is responsible for leading and driving the sales performance of BrandSpaces media and brand activation products across the Australian market. The Head of Media Sales will develop and execute strategic sales plans across four key revenue streams ensuring sustainable growth and strong client relationships with brands agencies and retailers.

Scentre Group have been creating extraordinary Westfield Destinations for over 60 years designed to attract highly valuable customers and create connected and meaningful experiences for a wide range of businesses.

In this role you would lead our agency independent agency brands direct and retail partner media sales teams. Leading this team of circa 60 people you will be working alongside our marketing product and sales operations teams delivering our market leading retail out of home offer.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and driving the sales performance of BrandSpaces media and brand activation products across the Australian market
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans across four key revenue streams ensuring sustainable growth and strong client relationships with brands agencies and retailers.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales team is enabled with the right training strategy collateral and operational support.

This role is permanent full-time based in our support office in Sydney.

What sets you apart

You will have:

  • A strong commercial mindset combined with leadership capability and deep media industry expertise
  • Experience as a strategic leader who can drive both short-term revenue performance and long-term growth initiatives balancing data-driven decision-making with a relationship-first approach.
  • Extensive leadership experience in media sales ideally within an agency media owner or retail media environment.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and delivering revenue growth.
  • Deep knowledge of the media landscape including agency relationships direct brand partnerships and ad tech platforms.
  • Strong ability to develop sales strategies set clear objectives and drive execution across multiple sales streams.
  • Experience in navigating complex stakeholder environments working with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Commercially savvy with a data-driven approach to sales performance and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills capable of aligning teams and fostering strong client relationships.
