Key Responsibilities of the Utility Person:
- Cleans clubhouse restrooms daily.
- Cleans Kitchen daily.
- Cleans sanitizes and properly stocks of all dishes pots pans flatware and glassware.
- Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler sweeping & mopping.
- Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage walk-in shelving steam tables hoods and exhaust system.
- Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
- Clean wash and sanitize all dishes clean kitchen after close.
- Vacuums and sweeps clubhouse daily.
- Collects trash in and around clubhouse area and disposes in facility dumpster.
- Checks the restrooms on a regular schedule.
- Maintains clubhouse cleanliness throughout work shift.
- Cleans and washes golf carts.
- Cleans and maintains an organized golf cart storage facility.
- Assists with set up and cleanup of event tent.
- Assists management team with similar housekeeping tasks when needed.
- Reports all problem situations to the Manager of the Day in a timely manner.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications for the Utility Person:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid drivers license (if driving golf cars).
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
- Organized able to work well in fast paced environment.
- Must have good customer/guest orientation.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Other Qualifications:
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
Working Conditions:
- Frequently stands walks and sits.
- Regularly uses hands pushes pulls reaches with arms and hands talks and listens.
- Occasionally climbs balances stoops kneels crawls crouches.
- Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Noise level is moderate.
