HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Underground Utility / Fire Line
Position Summary
Operates heavy equipment to perform excavation and trenching for underground utility and commercial fire line installation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavation equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform trenching for underground utilities and fire lines
- Assist crew with manual labor as needed
- Support pipe installation and backfill operations
- Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year heavy equipment operation experience
- Minimum 1 year experience with underground utility or fire line excavation
- Ability to lift 50 70 lbs regularly
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Certification
