Description

Experience being a part of our Forest Economics and Research team at Campbell Global a J.P. Morgan company. You will sit within the Economics team collaborating with and gaining exposure to many departments across the business. Bring your enthusiasm and analytical mindset as you dive into forest economics research and timberland investment analytics.

As a 2026 Emerging Talent Summer Experience Intern on Campbell Globals Economics team you will be offered variety growth and a great introduction to a range of projects and tasks. You will develop a core analytical project tailored to your specific skills interests and experience and gain exposure to multiple departments through informational interviews job shadowing and project-specific interactions. The program is designed to provide a fixed-term full-time experience starting mid-June 2026 for up to 10 weeks.

Job responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop a work plan for your specific project define objectives desired results and deliverables.
  • Check in periodically with the internship manager to provide progress updates understand priority changes if required and ensure completion of core project.
  • Actively participate in Econ team meetings and discussions.
  • Engage in team activities such as team-building bonding days etc.
  • Engage with other departments to develop a well-rounded understanding of the entire business.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Forest Management Economics Business Administration Natural Resources or a related field.

  • Currently pursuing a Masters or PhD in Forest Economics Applied Economics Forest Management or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated interest in quantitative analysis and the ability to address complex issues through analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and team skills are required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and results orally visually and in writing.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Understanding of macroeconomics microeconomics and forest economics.
  • Knowledge and strong interest in forest finance economics and carbon offset markets.
  • Proficiency using SQL R and/or Microsoft Office suite.
  • Capacity to develop strong working relationships across Campbell Global and JPMorgan Chase including clients and internal staff.
