The International Card & Services Technology (ICST) Executive Office drives strategic initiatives operational excellence and impactful communications across the ICST organization. Our mission is to foster collaboration innovation and continuous improvement in support of American Expresss global business.

Join the ICST Executive Office as a Senior Associate Program Management reporting directly to the Manager Assistant (MA). This role is pivotal in supporting executive operations driving strategic projects and enhancing engagement throughout ICST.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Support the ICST VPs portfolio ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

  • Manage portfolio financials and governance including budgets resource allocation and compliance.

  • Assist the Manager Assistant with executive office operations and ad hoc projects.

  • Monitor project performance against goals adjusting plans to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Prepare reports and updates keeping stakeholders informed and documentation current.

  • Provide inputs to pressure test plans for feasibility capacity and risk.

  • Contribute to the full life cycle of projects from concept to delivery.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with the wider ICST leadership team.

  • Collate and share information across ICST processes to ensure alignment and transparency.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and support organizational change initiatives.

Process Improvement & Risk Management

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency within ICST processes.

  • Lead and support organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Proactively manage risks ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.

Communications

  • Draft and deliver impactful communications and presentations for the ICST organization.

  • Create and maintain internal communication platforms using Amex tools (e.g. The Square Confluence) to enhance information flow.

Professional Development & Mentoring

  • Pursue ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.

  • Support and mentor junior staff or cross-functional teams as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The individual must be highly motivated organised flexible and proactive. Additional qualifications include:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills

  • Highly collaborative and comfortable interacting with people of all levels

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in fast paced environment

  • Effectively navigate within American Express with understanding of Amex businesses processes and operations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn with a confidence to challenge the status quo

  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and be flexible when faced with changing priorities

  • Humility and a willingness to get stuck in to tasks when support is necessary

  • Able to deal with confidential information without exception
