We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our growing business!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Fulfillment: Manage all warehouse activities including receiving putaway picking packing and shipping ensuring all e-commerce orders are processed accurately and on time to meet same-day or next-day shipping cutoffs.
- Optimize Workflow: Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflow strategies (e.g. zoning wave picking) to maximize throughput and minimize labor costs.
- Technology Management: Expertly utilize and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) ERP and shipping software to ensure real-time inventory and tracking accuracy.
- Vendor and Carrier Management: Coordinate with carriers and logistics delivery partners.
- Maintain Accuracy: Implement and manage cycle counting and physical inventory procedures to achieve and maintain 99% inventory accuracy.
- Stock Control: Oversee the proper storage rotation and handling of stock including high-value perishable or oversized items.
- Reverse Logistics: Manage the efficient processing and inspection of all returns and exchanges to quickly return items to stock or disposition them.
- Supervision: Recruit train coach and manage a team of warehouse associates supervisors and leads.
- Performance Management: Set clear KPIs (e.g. lines per hour ship time accuracy) and conduct regular performance reviews promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Scheduling: Develop flexible staffing plans and shift schedules to meet predictable peak demands (e.g. holiday season flash sales) and control overtime.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations.
- 2 years in a management role specifically within an e-commerce 3PL fulfillment or high-volume distribution environment.
- Background in fast-paced entrepreneurial startup/tech environments preferred.
- Fluency in English (our corporate language) and great communication skills.
