We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum 10 years of experience who wants to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multidiscipline firm. The successful individual will be a licensed structural engineer with solid experience in the design of steel concrete wood and masonry commercial/institutional buildings.

Qualifications :

In This Role You Will:

Perform and oversee structural analysis design and detailing on a variety of commercial & institutional building projects

Collaborate with the architect owner and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings

Lead and manage (or work closely with) a team of engineers designers and drafters to execute structural designs

Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design

Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications

Manage profitably of projects and maintain a working relationship with clients

Actively interact with new and existing clients and provide consultation on architectural practices to help win new structural projects

Work closely with the General Manager and assist in structural department production management

Requirements Include:

B.S. degree in Civil or Structural engineering

M.S. degree preferred

Registration as a Structural Engineer (S.E.)

10 or more years of experience

Experience with computer software programs and analysis systems such as Microsoft Office AutoCAD REVIT ETABS etc.

Some experience with DSA and OSHPD projects preferred

Knowledge and experience with the International Building Code (IBC) and US design standards

Excellent verbal written organizational leadership and time management skills

Experience working as part of a multi-discipline design team
