Job Summary
Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Bash / Python)
Location: Raleigh NC (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong scripting expertise in Bash and Python to join our engineering team in Raleigh NC. The candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure enhancing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring reliability and scalability of cloud-based applications.
This role requires a hands-on engineer focused on automation system reliability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
Manage and support cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure preferred).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools).
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline build and release processes.
Implement logging monitoring and alerting solutions.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
10-12 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles.
Strong scripting experience in Bash and Python.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI etc.).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform is a plus).
Good understanding of Linux systems administration.
Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
