Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise incoming fresh fruits and vegetables at receiving points and ensure compliance with defined quality specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks rejections and supplier performance.
- Oversee repacking and trimming operations ensuring hygiene correct labelling and minimal wastage.
- Monitor packaging material quality weight accuracy and traceability during DC operations.
- Ensure FIFO (First-In First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired First-Out) practices are strictly followed.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards (BSTI BFSA and internal QA protocols).
- Monitor temperature and humidity controls in storage and transit areas
- Support internal and external audits and maintain documentation.
- Train team members on produce handling quality parameters and hygiene practices.
- Maintain daily quality reports rejection summaries and shelf-life records.
- Flexible to work in shifts weekends or extended hours when required.
