Job Summary
SGS are seeking a Full time Laboratory Assistant to join the team in Pilgangoora.
Responsibilities include However not limited to:
- Quality and quantity of samples produced.
- Perform sample preparation to a high standard.
- Weigh samples accurately in an efficient manner.
- Maintain daily production numbers.
- Perform tasks as required. Task allocation will vary according to workload and may include assisting in other areas of the laboratory.
- Understand and perform laboratory methods and procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the ICP laboratory area and associated areas.
Qualifications :
The successful applicant will have:
- Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (preferred).
- Previous experience working within a laboratory environment.
- Previous experience in sample preparation.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge in moisture LOI and fusing techniques.
