Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery

Location: Brooklyn NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: Night Shift 312-Hour Shifts
Weekly Gross Pay: $2800

Position Overview

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will support patients throughout labor delivery and immediate postpartum care while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Administer medications IV therapy and treatments as ordered
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
Assist with labor management deliveries and emergency interventions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Educate patients and families on labor delivery and postpartum care
Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety standards and evidence-based practices

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Health experience
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience

Education & Certifications

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Required Licensure & Certifications

Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
