Our client is a fintech-software company part of a leading European financial group delivering advanced software solutions and data-driven services. They specialise in banking-tech platforms and data engineering supporting the groups digital-transformation ambitions. The Lisbon hub sits in a modern innovation building in the city reflecting a work environment designed for agility and excellence.
Role Overview:
- Designing developing and delivering advanced solutions powered by Generative AI with a strong emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Building and maintaining scalable and reliable AI systems including data pipelines APIs and integrations with external tools and platforms.
- Collaborating closely with engineering product and operations teams to create meaningful AI-driven solutions.
- Leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation and enhance existing systems.
- Continuously improving development processes to strengthen scalability security and overall performance.
- Staying current with emerging AI trends and technologies and sharing insights to encourage innovation and technical excellence within the team.
Requirements:
- Strong software engineering expertise particularly in Python and proven experience designing and building scalable backend API solutions.
- A solid track record in developing and deploying AI and Generative AI solutions with hands-on experience using industry-standard frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.
