Salary: 85115 per day (depending on experience and role)

About the Role
We are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work across a range of primary secondary and specialist schools throughout West and North West London. These schools are seeking individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting pupils with additional needs to reach their full potential.
This role involves supporting children and young people with a variety of special educational needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health needs) speech and language difficulties global developmental delay and learning difficulties. Support may be provided on a one-to-one basis in small intervention groups or within a classroom setting.
You will be working closely with teachers SENCOs therapists and pastoral teams to ensure pupils receive consistent structured and nurturing support throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN to enable access to learning
Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) EHCP targets and behaviour plans
Assist pupils with emotional regulation communication and social development
Promote positive behaviour and engagement using agreed strategies
Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
Support pupils during transitions lessons and unstructured times
Encourage independence resilience and confidence
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare
Contribute to a calm inclusive and supportive learning environment

Confident supporting pupils with complex needs or challenging behaviour
Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
Strong communicators with a team-focused mindset
Reliable proactive and committed to pupil wellbeing
Essential Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school care or youth setting)
Understanding of common SEN conditions and support strategies
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential)
SEN qualifications or training (e.g. Team Teach Autism awareness SEND Level 2/3)
Background in psychology education youth work or care
Experience in specialist provisions or SEN units
