Salary: 85105 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
A nurturing primary school in Neasden North West London is seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children during their earliest years of learning in a play-based stimulating environment.
The EYFS TA will work with children aged 35 years helping them develop academically socially and emotionally in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The school encourages creativity curiosity and independence ensuring every child feels supported and confident in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering EYFS lessons and activities
Work with individual children and small groups to support learning
Assist with phonics early numeracy literacy and creative play
Promote positive behaviour confidence and emotional wellbeing
Support children with personal care where required (toileting meals dressing)
Observe assess and record childrens learning and development
Prepare and maintain engaging classroom resources and learning areas
Support indoor and outdoor learning activities
Encourage independence confidence and social interaction
Build strong positive relationships with children staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate
Warm patient and enthusiastic
Passionate about early years education
Knowledgeable about EYFS and play-based learning
Confident supporting children with varying abilities and needs
Works well as part of a team and independently
Communicates effectively with children staff and parents
Essential Requirements
Experience working in an EYFS nursery or early years setting
Understanding of the EYFS framework
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential)
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
Experience supporting SEN within EYFS
Paediatric First Aid or Safeguarding training
