Join a high-attaining D&T department. Our ECT support programme includes specific training on technical communication helping you articulately deliver health and safety briefings and demonstrate complex tool-work to GCSE students.
Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope
Creative Design: Instructing Product Design/D&T across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only.
Practical Mastery: Guiding students through the design process from CAD/CAM to final prototyping.
Induction Cycle: Regular 1:1 meetings with your induction lead to ensure all safety and teaching standards are exceeded.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Hold QTS. Relevant Degree in Design Engineering or Technology.
Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers Pay Scale (M/UPS).
Support: Full-time D&T Technician and a well-equipped workshop.
