Fort Worth Country Day is seeking an enthusiastic student-centered educator who loves literacy and is eager to join a vibrant Lower School community. Reporting to the Head Librarian and the Head of Lower School this dynamic highly qualified and approachable specialist will lead the Lower School library program and serve as a vital member of a four-person library team beginning in August 2026.
Our ideal candidate builds strong relationships with students and designs engaging collaborative lessons that invite learners to explore discover and construct knowledge together. Drawing inspiration from evidence-based literacy practices and active learning strategies they foster an environment where curiosity and intellectual play deepen a love of reading.
