Job Summary

Description

Perlick Corporation is looking for a Product Engineering Manager who is responsible for planning and managing the activities of staff who are engaged in product development change management CAD modeling and drafting optimization of product master data documentation of engineering requirements/specifications and testing of products value analysis/value engineering cost reduction implementation and general engineering support for other departments. Position is based in Milwaukee Wisconsin.



Qualifications

Required: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 5 years of experience in Product Development. Alternatively employer will also accept a Masters Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3 years of experience in Product addition the following specific skills are required:

  • 5 years of experience (3 w/ Masters Degree) with manufacturing durable good products or high mix and low volume
  • 5 years of experience (3 w/ Masters Degree) with coaching mentoring leading developing training and disciplining associates
  • 5years of experience (3 w/ Masters Degree) with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • 3 years of experience (1 year w/ Masters Degree) with CAD Solid Works modeling
  • 3 years (1 year w/ Masters Degree) of product development experience for refrigeration and sheet metal products
  • 2 years (1 year w/ Masters Degree) of technical leadership experience in manufacturing businesses that produce custom products and appliance products
  • 20% domestic and international travel required
