Job Title: Catering Coordinator / Driver
Department: Dining
Part- Time - 8 hours
Job Objective:
Manages all aspects of food and beverage for events acting as the link between clients chefs vendors and staff to ensure seamless execution from initial client contact menu planning and logistics to on-site supervision budget management and post-event follow-up focusing on excellent customer service and operational efficiency. Key duties include client communication staff scheduling event setup/breakdown coordination and ensuring all health/safety standards are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Culinary background required Computer Skills Excel Microsoft Word PowerPoint Spot On Ecatering Canva Customer Service Skills.
Licensure: Servsafe
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer client phone calls and emails
- Meet with catering clients
- Make deliveries when needed. Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Must be flexible with schedule to work night and weekend events as needed.
- Assist with catering billing and collections.
- Assist with Café digital display catering flyers and menu planning.
- POS - Spot on back of the house café programming & online ordering.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood.
- Able to hear sounds within some background of noise as in answering the phone intercom etc.
- Visual acuity to see computer and read printed documents.
- Ability to use company software and equipment to accomplish electronic tasks.
- Ability to concentrate on fine details with interruptions.
- Ability to attend to tasks/functions for more than 60 minutes at a time.
- Ability to understand and relate to the reasons behind several related concepts.
- Ability to remember multiple tasks /assignments given to self and others over long periods of time.
- Ability to perform gross body coordination such as walking stooping filing etc.
- Ability to perform tasks which require hand eye coordination such as keyboard skills writing or picking up paper.
