The Biology Department of Rockhurst University is looking for an Assistant Teaching Professor/Lab Manager in Biology to begin in Spring 2026. Full-time position with a 9-month contract and stipend for summer work. Responsibilities include teaching approximately 3 Biology lab courses per semester with a preferred focus on General Biology Anatomy and Physiology and/or Microbiology Laboratories; coordinating assisting and preparing for introductory and upper-level Biology laboratories; managing Departmental chemical inventory departmental ordering laboratory classrooms research laboratories and prep room; and managing Departmental safety. Previous safety training is an advantage but not required at time of hire. Minimum qualifications: A MS in Biology or related field is required. A PhD in Biology or related field is preferred.
