DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position maintains all parts stock within the dealership by:
- Receiving and checking all incoming shipments.
- Check for accuracy of shipment (ensure bill of lading matches product unloaded).
- Quality of parts; noting damage and shortages.
- Put away daily stock orders and customer orders.
- Perform cycle counts daily to ensure accuracy of stock.
- Create labels and/or bins for new parts in warehouse.
- Collect and organize cores and warranties and perform return of cores and warranties to appropriate vendors.
- Facilitate yearly inventory in conjunction with parts manager.
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse.
QualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent required with basic knowledge of truck/auto components.
- Excellent communication skills and must speak English.
- High school business math.
- Knowledge of and ability to work on a computer.
- General mechanical aptitude.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. Specifically:
- Must be able to walk stand kneel crouch reach and lift.
- Must be able to carry 10 to 50 pounds 70% of the work time; 51 to 90 pounds 20% of the work time; and 100 plus pounds 10% of the work time.
- Will need to operate forklifts and lift trucks safely to load and unload trucks store parts and load customers and delivery vehicles.
