Description

YSS is looking for Preschool Program Assistant to join our Kids Clubteam. Were looking for someone who is energetic fun and able to naturally connect with kids while staying reliable patient and attentive. If you love helping children learn explore and grow and you work well with a team to create a safe welcoming environment where every child can thrive this is the job for you!

As a Program Assistant youll bring energy structure and care to each daysupervising kids leading activities and keeping things running smoothly alongside staff and volunteers. For more about Kids Club please visit be able to preference location shift and break availability/schedule when applying.

What youll do:

Lead before- and after-school programs and full-day activities during breaks keeping kids active and engaged.
Superviseand engaging kids in daily activities.
Helpplan and lead fun educational and recreational programs.
Prepareand serving healthy snacks and meals.
Keepspaces clean and organized.
Buildpositive connections with staff parents and volunteers.
Recordattendance behavior and progress.

Qualifications

MUST HAVES - Required Qualifications

At least 16 years old
CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 3 months)
Enjoy working with children

SHOULD HAVES - Preferred Qualifications

Experience caring for or supervising children
Able to connect with kids
Enthusiastic and excited to come to work daily
Comfortable assisting with homework
Reliable transportation and punctual
