Job Summary
We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our civil litigation practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least one year of litigation experience who is eager to take on substantive case responsibility and continue developing courtroom and advocacy skills. The position offers exposure to a wide range of matters including general liability premises liability professional liability medical malpractice defense products liability commercial litigation and employment-related disputes. The ideal candidate is proactive detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced team-driven environment while also managing independent responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings motions discovery requests and written responses
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda supporting litigation strategy
- Prepare for and participate in depositions hearings mediations and trials
- Collaborate with partners senior attorneys clients and expert witnesses
- Communicate regularly with clients and provide timely case status updates
- Ensure compliance with court rules deadlines and procedural requirements
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active admission to the Massachusetts State Bar
- Minimum of one year of civil litigation experience
- Experience practicing in Massachusetts state and federal courts
- Strong legal writing research and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $110000 to $125000 depending on experience
