As an Adult Services Team Leader you will:

  • Empower a team of Support Workers to provide high-quality and safe services to vulnerable persons within our community

  • Coach and mentor a team of Support Workers offering on-the-job training support and guidance

  • Inspire a skilled versatile and diverse team utilising your experience in managing performance and delivering support

  • Support service delivery by ensuring effective and efficient administrative processes and procedures including quality timely and accurate reporting planning and record-keeping

You will have:

  • Proven advanced problem-solving emotional intelligence and positive interaction skills across diverse communities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead motivate and performance manage teams in a fast-paced & dynamic environment

  • Effective conflict resolution negotiation mediation and decision-making skills

  • Track record of building teams with clear goals fostering innovation and collaboration

  • Commitment to a person-centred approach for vulnerable individuals

  • Experience supporting complex needs behaviours of concern and mental health is essential; working with people with a disability and/or children or youth in care experience is highly regarded

  • Qualifications in Disability Services Community Services or Individual Support (highly regarded but not essential)

  • Availability to work between 6am-10pm for at least 3 days per week

Compliance requirements:

  • Current NSW Drivers licence

  • Obtain and maintain a current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • Obtain and maintain a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)

  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment police check

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
