WHAT YOULL BE DOING

The Class A Boom Truck Driver is a key position at Jensen Precast. Every day youre out in the field safely delivering precast products.

Reporting to dispatch youll primarily work with customers delivery drivers and the sales team.

A highlight of your day to day will include:

Transport precast materials secure loads and ensure that your truck does not exceed the maximum weight limits for transport.
Understand and are fully aware of all DOT guidelines and adhere to such regulations; maintain logs of working hours of vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and federal regulations; check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Ensure proper customer service by reviewing and comparing invoice to what product is loaded; collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources verify instructions and requested routes/drop off location; read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes; drive truck to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Youre a licensed Class A CDL driver with an NCCCO certification. You like to be home daily and paid hourly. Placing large/awkward/heavy products in place at jobsites doesnt scare you. You dont take shortcuts. Youre safety conscious not just for yourself but for your team.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess demonstratedcommercial driving experience. Other desired qualifications include but are not limited to:

Preferred Experience: Between 2 and 5 years
3 years of related experience preferably in the construction industry
Ability to communicate with customers
Ability to minimize down time between deliveries
Familiarity with DOT requirements
Self-motivated and able to perform role with minimal direction
