Job Summary
The Prep Cook plays a critical role in supporting kitchen operations by preparing ingredients and ensuring readiness for service. This includes cleaning chopping portioning and organizing ingredients as well as maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Prep Cooks work under the direction of chefs and contribute to food quality efficiency and kitchen flow.

Pay Transparency (California SB 1162 Compliance)
This position is expected to pay within the range of $15 - $18 per hour depending on experience qualifications and location. This range reflects the base pay for this role and does not include other compensation or benefits.

What You Need to Bring to the Table
Must hold a Food Handlers certificate from an ANSI-accredited program
1 years of experience as a prep cook preferably in a high-intensity high-volume kitchen
Excellent knife skills
Must be able to multitask and maintain a clean and orderly work area
Flexible hours are required (days nights weekends and holidays)
Must possess a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
