Description

Friends University seeks a mission-driven and student-centered leader to serve as the Vice President of Student Life. Reporting to the President the VPSL provides leadership for daily operations and programs that support student engagement and wellbeing outside the classroom. Areas of oversight include Residence Life Student Engagement Student Conduct Inclusion & International Student Services and Career Services.

The VPSL fosters a collaborative caring environment that supports student development belonging and success. The role manages professional staff coordinates responses to student concerns and campus incidents contributes to policy implementation budget management and ensures Student Life operations reflect the universitys Christian mission vision and RISE values. The VPSL maintains strong partnerships across campus to enhance the student experience.

Qualifications

Masters degree in Higher Education Student Affairs Counseling Organizational Leadership or a related field
57 years of progressively responsible experience in Student Life or Student Affairs budgeting and policy development
Demonstrated ability to supervise professional staff work collaboratively and support a diverse student population
Strong commitment to Christian faith mission and values
Excellent communication organizational and technology skills
