The Student Services Manager will lead the programs student services in directing and supporting the students in several areas to assist in their success whilst at Dominican University of California for example mentoring and advising the ASPP (MA and SPP Certificate) students for upcoming semesters updating student course maps and performing degree audits scheduling the courses liaising with adjunct faculty and organizing and managing student appointments for current and new students.
The position requires knowledge and skills in sport and performance psychology at graduate addition this position will attend all team meetings Town Hall meetings Masterclasses orientations and some open house events and other special projects may be assigned by the program director.
About the ASPP Program
The Applied Sport and Performance Psychology Program is a thriving unique and specialized program within the United States. This MA degree title does not exist anywhere else in the country and the program is fully aligned with the requirements for certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). This alignment is also not achieved by many programs in the U.S. thus adding to the specialized nature of the degree. As such the faculty and staff team need to also have specialized qualifications and skills.
