DescriptionEssential Job Functions:
Ability to supervise individuals and develop a strong working team.
Assisting gaming operations departments in evaluating financial performance adequacy of control environments and systems utilization.
Ability to use technical and complex auditing software to streamline process.
Applying knowledge and understanding of audit procedures towards the goal of developing counseling training and scheduling of income auditors to work at highest efficiency levels.
Maintaining the necessary internal controls required to safeguard the propertys assets and integrity utilizing company guidelines.
To evaluate and communicate income control violations to the operating areas and implement correctional courses of action; ensuring compliance with existing internal and external income control policies and procedures pertaining to one or more operational areas.
Assembling auditing posting and preparing various detailed accounting reports for departmental review and/or incorporate audit information into more complex reports including month-end general ledger posting according to established policies and procedures.
Checking work and reporting unusual variances and discrepancies via verbal and or written reports; monitoring and reporting all items that do not fall within sound auditing or accounting procedures. Work with departments to identify training opportunities to reduce frequency or trend in audit exceptions.

- All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member front or back of house should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up look around (head on a swivel); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor you are on stage.
- Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Ability to read write speak and understand English.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must present a well-groomed professional appearance.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and comply with all state federal and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesPhysical Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around office area and throughout the casino property.
- Must be able to bend crouch kneel twist lift stoop reach and work at a desk when performing administrative functions.
- Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke dust loud noises and bright lights.
Able to work at a computer terminal throughout the assigned shift and sit for long periods of time.
Able to bend reach carry stand and maneuver up and down stairs.
Respond to visual and aural cues.
Able to read write speak and understand English.
Must be able to operate the following equipment: computers printers copier 10 key adding machine and telephone
QualificationsQualifications:
BS degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of casino regulatory requirements.
Familiar with Ballys Slot Data System Casino Management System Lodging Management System and Micros.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access database software.
Applicants should be customer service oriented with good communication skills and present a well-groomed appearance.
Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.
